After you enter the letters and hit the shift key...you'll see the tiny dot on the desktop--top left hand corner.
Placing your cursor over the square it will show which ones have the bomb under them.
Once you click on a square, it reverses. Now the pixel will show up when you are over a positive square.

The white SINGLE pixel will appear on the top left of your DESKTOP (monitor area), not the actual game of minesweeper. When you see a white dot that means there is a mine under your square... I thought everyone knew this trick.. it's nothing new -_-...

To those who were not yet able to see the "white light", the mouse pointer should be within the mine-sweeper window to "activate" the dot. It's on all the time.
I noticed though that the first square where the dot disappears isn't always a bomb.

Hate to be the bringer of bad news - but the six squares checked did not contain mines - watch the animation again and the end sequence reveals all the mines - none off which are the ones flagged :)

If you play with the program a bit you will realize that incorrectly placed flags show up as mines with X's through them... The 6 flags had mines underneath!

The white dot appears at the very upper left hand corner... and by the way there is no need to press the xyzzy keys....just press the "shift" key and if the pixel is lid, that means you can open that tile.
lid pixel = safe to open
off pixel = mine present
