That's so weird that they just use a bunch of smaller batteries to make bigger batteries. I wonder if it's because the 12V isn't that popular so they didn't want to go through the trouble of making it like a real battery? I would have liked to see what's in a AA battery for comparison.

a single battery cell can only produce about 1 to 2 volts. Every 12 volt battery has multiple cells. AA batteries only have one cell that has a charge of 1.5 volts.

This acid isn't very strong though, i've had much worse on me in chem class, this one didn't even make my skin turn red and it took a while for a droplet on my finger to even start stinging. (ever so slightly)
We have that brand of batteries here in sweden, are they filled with acid or are they like yours? Anyone who knows?

even tho, if you buy the same energizer battery it will roughly cost you the same price as the a23. These companies aren't stupid you know. Why would they put seperate cell at a hgiher price.
